Work Starts on Site at PERA
27 Nov 2009

Work is due to start this month on one of the biggest changes to the Melton skyline as PERA moves into the 21st century.

John Hill, Chief Executive, said “this significant investment into the East Midlands is a sign of PERA’s ongoing commitment to the region and to the staff in Melton.  Although we have grown significantly in the last decade and have staff spread across Europe, the US and Asia, we are immensely proud to be headquartered in the East Midlands which still represents the greatest concentration of our staff”.

The project will involve replacing windows and the complete re-cladding of the two main buildings.

But the change is not merely cosmetic and will reduce the organisation’s energy consumption by 55% and hence it’s carbon footprint.
