Rayner Davies Shortlisted for Bexhill on Sea Competition
14 Oct 2009

Rayner Davies Architects have been named on the 10-strong shortlist to design a series of new structures along the seafront at Bexhill-on-Sea in East Sussex

The finalists in the RIBA-organised competition have been asked to draw up proposals for a kiosk and four seafront shelters with a total construction value of £220,000.

The shelters are being hailed as ‘the flagship scheme’ within the wider £5 million ‘cultural regeneration’ proposals masterminded by Rother District Council – a masterplan which has received £1 million of funding from CABE under the SeaChange Programme.
